Our CEO

    Meet Our Founder & CEO

Cristina Leme is the Founder and CEO of I’ve Got Your 6 Foundation, a purpose-driven leader whose life has been shaped by resilience, compassion, and an unwavering belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to rediscover purpose.

A proud mother of two, Lucas and Bianca, Cristina credits her children as her greatest inspiration. They remind her daily why creating a meaningful future for others matters so deeply.

Cristina’s journey has been anything but ordinary. As a young Rotary exchange student, she travelled to the United States twice, experiences that sparked a lifelong curiosity about people, cultures, and the power of human connection. Soon after, she spent nine years working at Disney World in Florida as a tour guide, where she learned the art of communication, leadership, and creating positive experiences for people from around the world.

Even in her twenties, Cristina was already driven by a desire to make a difference. She designed and led a community project supporting homeless young adults, teaching practical life skills such as personal care, communication, and computer literacy while connecting participants with organisations that could help them find employment. The project earned her the Paul Harris Fellow Award from Rotary International, one of the organisation’s highest recognitions for community service.

Cristina later lived and worked in the United Kingdom and travelled extensively across Europe. Fluent in five languages, she developed a global perspective and a deep appreciation for diversity, empathy, and inclusion—values that continue to shape her leadership today.

Her community work and advocacy were recognised when she was nominated for Kingston Council’s Woman of the Year in both 2020 and 2021, honouring her contributions to the disability and community sectors.

From Business Leader to Social Impact Founder

Cristina’s professional career combines strong business acumen with a passion for helping people grow.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication (Marketing and Advertising), a Postgraduate qualification in Business Marketing, and further studies in Marketing, PR and Advertising in the United Kingdom.

Alongside her academic background, Cristina is a qualified Neuroscience Practitioner and has completed extensive training in leadership, coaching, and personal development, including Professional DiSC Certification, Master Coaching Alliance training, and accredited coaching qualifications.

Throughout her career she has held executive roles in marketing, business development, and general management, while also building and scaling her own ventures. One of her most notable achievements was transforming a startup business into a seven-figure enterprise, approaching eight figures, within just five years.

But success in business was never the final destination. Cristina’s true calling was always about helping people transform their lives.

That vision led her to establish I’ve Got Your 6 Foundation (IGY6)—a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting veterans, people with disabilities, and their families to rebuild confidence, strengthen resilience, and rediscover purpose.

Under Cristina’s leadership, IGY6 has grown into a national organisation delivering mental health and wellbeing services, as well as transformational programs designed to help individuals move beyond survival mode and step back into a life of meaning and possibility.

    Leading With Heart

Cristina believes that leadership is not simply about strategy or growth—it is about people.

Her work is grounded in empathy, lived experience, and a deep understanding that change often begins with one conversation, one moment of clarity, or one person who believes in you.

Her partner, John Giampino, a veteran, has further deepened Cristina’s understanding of the challenges many veterans face when transitioning from service to civilian life. His strength and integrity continue to inspire her commitment to supporting the veteran community.

    A Life Guided by Compassion

Cristina’s compassion extends well beyond her professional work. Animals, particularly dogs, have always played a special role in her life.

Her beloved rescue greyhound Zuca, who passed away in November 2024, brought comfort, loyalty, and unconditional love during many important chapters of her life. Zuca’s memory continues to inspire Cristina’s passion for animal welfare and rescue advocacy.

Today, Dexter, a cheerful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a special gift for Bianca’s 15th birthday, often joins Cristina at the office and has quickly become part of the IGY6 family. His playful presence brings smiles to staff, clients, and visitors alike.

Outside of work, Cristina enjoys travelling, spending time with her children, riding motorbikes with John, and visiting the cinema—simple moments that remind her of the importance of balance, connection, and joy.
