Management Team

Our Management Team is dedicated to overseeing the daily operations of IGY6, ensuring we deliver the best possible support for our veterans and individuals with disabilities. As a close-knit team, they work tirelessly to uphold our mission, foster a supportive community, and drive meaningful change in the lives of those we serve.

    Meet our CEO, Cristina Leme

Cristina is a natural multi-tasker who has successfully balanced her professional ambitions with her personal journey. A proud mother of two, Lucas and Bianca, she considers the birth of her children in 2005 and 2010 her greatest personal achievements, and they continue to be her driving force.

Her experience extends far beyond her education. As an exchange student with the Rotary Club, she had the opportunity to study in the United States twice. She later worked as a tour guide at Disney World Florida for nine years and was honoured with the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow award from the Rotary Club. Having lived and worked in the UK, travelling across Europe for work and leisure, Cristina is also fluent in five languages.

Her commitment to the community led to her nomination as Kingston Council’s Woman of the Year in 2020 and 2021, recognising her outstanding contributions to the disability sector.

A Passion for Leadership and Helping Others

Cristina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication with a major in Marketing and Advertising, along with a Postgraduate qualification in Business Marketing and further specialisation in Marketing, PR & Advertising in the UK. She is a Neuroscience Practitioner and has obtained several certifications in personal development, including Professional DiSC Certification, Master Coaching Alliance, and Accredited Coaching Qualifications.

Throughout her career, Cristina has held executive roles in Marketing, Business Development, and General Management, as well as running her own businesses. One of her most significant achievements was taking a business from a startup to a seven-figure success (and close to eight) in just five years.

Her passion for helping others has always been at the heart of her career. After years of working in the corporate world and across multiple industries, she embraced the opportunity to start the I’ve Got Your 6 Foundation, dedicating herself to empowering veterans, individuals with disabilities and their families.

    A Personal Journey of Strength

Despite her academic and professional success, Cristina’s journey has not been without challenges. She has faced mental health struggles, the pressures of leadership, and the difficulties of personal change. The stress of a demanding role, the end of a 20-year marriage, and the emotional well-being of her children have tested her resilience.

What helped Cristina the most was focusing on her mental health and personal growth, along with the guidance of a mentor who helped her transform her mindset and outlook on life. Today, she shares her journey as proof that change is possible for anyone willing to embrace it.

Passionate About Animals & Honouring Zuca

Cristina has always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs. She recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of her beloved rescue greyhound, Zuca, who was an integral part of her life. Zuca brought her joy, companionship, and a sense of peace during difficult times, reinforcing Cristina’s passion for animal welfare and rescue efforts.

In her free time, Cristina enjoys spending time with her children, riding motorbikes with her partner John, going to the movies, and looking after her "furry grandson", Dexter.

        Manager

      • Claudio is an Italian-born, passionate, and experienced Life Coach, trained at the Professional Level with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and currently completing a Master of Counselling at Swinburne University. He holds a Certificate IV in Life Coaching and is a Master Practitioner in Time Line Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Modern Hypnotherapy.
