Life After Service is a free, two-day, in-person wellbeing program delivered by I’ve Got Your 6 Foundation (IGY6), designed for veterans and first responders navigating life beyond service.
Developed in collaboration with neuro-education experts, the program blends neuroscience-informed education, practical NLP techniques, mindset coaching, and emotional resilience training. Through guided learning, facilitated group discussions, and reflective exercises, participants gain a deeper understanding of how the brain and nervous system adapt after service, while building practical strategies to manage stress, rebuild confidence, strengthen emotional regulation, and reconnect with purpose, direction, and identity.
Each day begins with arrival from 9:30am, with sessions commencing promptly at 10:00am and concluding at 4:00pm. The structured yet supportive format allows time for learning, meaningful connection, and practical application in a safe and respectful environment.
Coffee, tea, biscuits, and a light lunch are provided on both days. Participants with food allergies or dietary requirements must email reception@igy6.com.au prior to the event so appropriate arrangements can be made.
Participation is limited to ensure a high-quality and engaging experience. Registration is required, and to confirm eligibility, participants must provide:
- Proof of photo identification, and
- A Veteran Card or documentation confirming service as a first responder.
Life After Service is not just about learning new tools. It’s about understanding how the brain adapts beyond uniform, building practical skills for everyday life, and moving forward with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence.
Behind every uniform is a story of courage and service. When the mission changes, it helps to have the right tools to navigate what comes next.
Life After Service is proudly delivered by I’ve Got Your 6 Foundation (IGY6) and supported by the Commonwealth of Australia, represented by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs through the Veteran Wellbeing Grants Program. This funding means there is no cost to attend, with all sessions, materials, and resources fully funded to support your wellbeing, growth, and connection.
