Partner Employment & Career Support (PEAP)

    Partner Employment Assistance Program (PEAP)

Your partner serves. Your career still matters.

The Partner Employment Assistance Program (PEAP) is designed to support Defence partners as they navigate employment, career development and workforce participation throughout the unique challenges of military life. Frequent relocations, deployments, career interruptions and family responsibilities can make it difficult to build and maintain a career. PEAP provides personalised, practical and supportive guidance to help Defence partners identify career goals, build confidence, strengthen employability skills and connect with meaningful employment, education and training opportunities.

Whether you are entering the workforce, returning after a break, changing careers or seeking your next opportunity, IGY6 offers tailored support that recognises your individual circumstances and helps you create a career that can move with you, wherever life takes you.

    Why IGY6?

Unlike traditional career services, IGY6 understands the unique challenges experienced by Defence families.

Our team combines lived experience, career development expertise and a practical, person-centred approach to help Defence partners navigate employment, career change and workforce re-entry.

We understand that career decisions are often influenced by postings, family commitments, service requirements and life transitions. That's why our support is tailored to the individual, not a one-size-fits-all process.
